Chief Financial Officer

Salary: £68,000, Pro-Rata (14 hours per week/0.2 FTE)

St Carlos Catholic Academy Trust is look to appoint a highly motivated and committed Chief Financial Officer, who will have strategic responsibility for all aspects of Trust finance. The successful applicant will be a member of the Trust's Executive Team, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board and will provide strong financial leadership and guidance across the organisation.

This is a busy and fulfilling role which includes responsibility for:

Provide strategic financial leadership and expert leadership and expert advice to the CEO, Board of Directors, Headteachers and senior leaders across the Trust.
Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting and annual accounts, ensuring compliance with Academy Trust Handbook and DfE requirements.
Oversee robust financial governance, internal controls, audit processes and risk management across the Trust.
Manage and develop high-quality financial services, systems and reporting structures that support operational efficiency and future growth.
Lead the Trust's financial strategy, ensuring long-term sustainably, effective resource allocation and value for money.
Oversee key financial operations including funding, cash flow, payroll, pensions, treasury management and major capital projects
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support Trust growth, including financial due diligence for new schools joining the Trust.
